Jr. Database Developer/Administrator
Position Summary:
Perform diagnostic, testing, and troubleshooting of software and database issues. Plan and perform database configuration, maintenance, upgrade, and patching.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain the performance of database servers.
  • Develop processes for optimizing database.
  • Set and maintain database standards.
  • Manage database access.
  • Performance tuning of database systems.
  • Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
  • Create automation for repeating database tasks.
  • Be available for on-call support as needed.
  • Design stable, reliable and effective databases
  • Optimize and maintain legacy systems.
  • Modify databases according to requests and perform tests.
  • Liaise with developers to improve applications and establish best practices.
  • Gather user requirements and identify new features.
  • Provide data management support to users.
  • Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
  • Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols.
  • Extract data from primary and secondary sources.
  • Preparing reports for the management, business, and compliance team.
  • Develop, maintain and support FINRA CAT/CAIS system.
  • Provide intraday support for trading system.
  • Monitor, maintain and develop routinely tasks.
  • Backup key developers during their off hours
Experience & Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience as a database administrator and/or developer.
  • 1+ years of experience in MS SQL Server production support, Stored Procedures, RDBMS.
  • 1+ years technical experience with SQL Server
  • 1+ years technical experience with ETL tools such as DTS or SSIS (SSIS Preferred).
  • Experience with index tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience with using source control systems such as VSS, CVS or TFS
  • Ability to multi-task and to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Precise attention to detail, and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to troubleshoot as problems occur.
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, computer engineer, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
System Administrator
Job Location: St. Louis, MO Office

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and performance monitoring of the Windows servers and PCs.
  • Assist with Office 365 management, management of security and distribution groups, file and storage management, Teams administration.
  • Regular patching and firmware updates on all servers and network equipment according to vendor recommendations.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of procedures, process flows, data and system mapping, etc.
  • Provide regular on-call support of the network, including desktop, laptop and IP phone.
Requirements: :
  • Hands on experience managing Windows server, active directory, group policy.
  • Experience with Windows server, file and email backup and restore.
  • Provide issues/needs analysis and solution recommendation/implementation relative to systems administration needs.
  • Proven ability to configure, deploy and manage network monitoring.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work, possess excellent problem solving, verbal and communication skills, customer focused, and organized.
  • At least 1 year's experience in infrastructure (servers and networking).

  • Preferred Skills/Technologies:
  • Experience with Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with network administration for firewalls, routers and switches.
  • Linux server experience (CentOS).
  • Basic knowledge of computer security best practices and policies including demonstrated experience securing Microsoft server-based software.

Jr. Software Developer

The main purpose of this position is to focus on application development and maintenance. The Developer has the ability to work with other team members in the support of the enterprise applications.
  • Dedicate the majority of time to the development of new products/support of applications already in production.
  • Provides status updates to Supervisor and Manager.
  • Adheres to pre-defined programming standards set by Application Architects.
  • Creates documentation using established PMO standards.
  • Maintains technical knowledge through training or other measures.
  • Performs unit testing and assists in user testing of programming modifications.
  • Translates high-level requirements into detailed technical designs.
  • Provides technical estimates.
  • Develops and maintains effective partnerships with business teams in order to understand and anticipate their needs, the business environment, other challenges and opportunities.

Investment Broker

Familiar with stock trading in the U.S., this Investment Broker is responsible for answering customer inquiries regarding margin rules and regulations, options strategies, order entry, and the trading platforms in various mediums including phone, chat, e-mail, and social media.

  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers and prospects via phone, e-mail and online chat.
  • Execute trades for customers via the phone in an accurate and professional manner.
  • Research and resolve trade execution disputes.
  • Provide assistance to customers regarding stock quotes and news account inquiries, and technical guidance.
  • Provide assistance to customers and prospects regarding SogoTrade services, available account types, products, Website and trading platforms, and Branch Office information.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer e-mail inquiries, and route or escalate customer e-mails appropriately to Compliance, Risk Mgmt, Supervisor, Marketing, etc.
  • Assist with orientation and training of new Service Center brokers trainees.
  • Work in detail with margin accounts, buying power calculations and account balances.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Current Series 7 and Series 63 license preferred.
  • Clean U4 securities record.
  • 1+ years customer service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle customer service issues in a professional manner.
  • Possess organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multiple tasks.

Account Operation Internship

Job Location: St. Louis, MO Office

The Account Operation Intern is responsible for assisting customers with new account opening and existing account maintenance. Interns must have availability to work 15-30 hours per week for a minimum of 2 consecutive semesters.

  • Follow up on leads from potential customers, and missing application information.
  • Establish and activate new accounts.
  • Scan and file paperwork.
  • Follow up on undeliverable emails and returned mails.
  • Assist with processing fund deposits, withdrawals, and ACATS transfers.
  • Maintain and update customers’ account information.
  • Follow up on pending account transfers.
  • Interact with clients over the phone.
  • Creating digital copies of account documents.
  • Distribute incoming mail.
  • General administrative and operational duties.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Education & Skills:
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student attending a local University.
  • Currently enrolled student with a business, finance, or economics field of study.
  • One year of customer service or general office experience preferred.
